Privacy Policy

Contact Clipper is designed to process contact data locally in the user's browser.

Data Collection

The extension scans the active browser tab only after the user opens the extension or uses scan mode. It may identify email addresses, phone numbers, and social profile links visible in the current page content.

Data Storage

Extracted contacts may be stored locally using Chrome storage so the extension popup can continue to display the latest scan results. This data remains on the user's device.

Data Sharing

The extension does not transmit extracted contacts, page content, browsing history, analytics, or personal information to Contact Clipper servers or third parties.

User Control

Users can clear locally stored extraction results from the extension popup at any time. Users can also remove the extension from Chrome to delete extension-managed local data.
